MalRecord means that the tablet's storage has less than 10% available. It's not a failure state but approaching a failure state. When you see many of these for a driver, they are thrown and cleared. It means that the storage is hovering around 10%. For example, Truckspy records some data and stores it on the tablet, pushing its available storage to under 10%, then sends that data to the server and removes it from the tablet, thus releasing the storage to back over 10%. This is common when Engineering pushes an upgrade.
MalSync means that the Tablet has been unable to get engine data from the Truck's ECM for 15 minutes over the last 24-hour period. This can happen if it's disconnected OR the truck's ECM isn't producing data at a speed compliant with the ELD rules (the latter is standard on pre-2013 trucks). Also, it is not a failure state but indicates a potential problem.
MalTime means that the system clock on the relay or tablet is more than 10 minutes out of sync with universal time. Sometimes, you'll see this on startup and an immediate clear. All of our devices calibrate to universal time regularly, so this shouldn't be a problem.
