As an FMCSA-approved ELD provider, we are mandated to follow guidelines that dictate how this technology works. Eliminate the likelihood of data loss during automatic app updates by logging out of your tablet at the end of your shift.
Assuming you have the correct tablet in the correct truck and are logged in, tap on Hours of Service. Towards the top of the screen, you will see your current status.
- Grey - Off Duty & Sleeper
- Yellow - On Duty
- Green - Driving
Tapping on your current status will open a popup that will update your current status once complete. Tap on your desired status, type your odometer if missing, type the annotation, and then tap save.
đź“–NOTE: You will automatically switch to Driving once the system detects truck movement of 5 mph or more.

Tablet Layout
Shift Time Remaining - This is the number of hours you have in your Shift.
Roadside Inspection - This is for sharing your logs - Covered later in greater detail.
Options - Selecting this brings up a list of Exemptions available to Fleets to legally run under with the proper credentials. These may include Agriculture Exemption, Relief due to Emergency Conditions, and Hauling Livestock. Accepting the exception turns the Status Bar purple, noting what exemption you are running under. (Select the Disable button in the purple bar to end the exemption you are driving under).
Logs - Used to view your previous seven (7) days plus the current day, so eight (8) days of event logs.
