Analytics - Purchased Fuel

With fuel costs continuing to impact margins, having clear visibility into fuel spend and efficiency is critical. The Purchased Fuel dashboard brings together fuel receipt data from your Truckspy MyGroundBiz (MGB) integration with your FedEx account, combined with settlement and ECM data, to give you a complete picture of fuel performance.

To access this dashboard, log in to Truckspy and navigate to:
Analytics > Purchased Fuel

At a glance, you’ll see key performance metrics, including:

• Miles Driven – Total distance traveled during the selected period
• Gallons Purchased – Total fuel purchased across your fleet
• Purchased MPG – Fleet fuel efficiency based on purchased gallons
• Fuel Cost Per Mile – Your true fuel cost relative to miles driven

Deeper insights come from the additional views within this dashboard:

Purchase Efficiency
Identify where and how you’re spending on fuel:

• Net Fuel Price by Chain – Compare pricing across fuel brands
• Worst Fuel Locations – Spot consistently high-cost stops
• Price Per Unit (Net of State Tax) – Understand true fuel cost differences across states (covered in a future article)

By Vehicle
Break down performance at the unit level:

• Total Gallons Purchased
• Purchased MPG by vehicle
• Cost Per Mile by vehicle

All Fuel Transactions
A fully sortable view of every transaction, including:

• Date, vehicle, and location
• State and gallons purchased
• Price, taxes, and total cost

All Analytics dashboards allow you to filter by day, week, month, quarter, or year. Reports can also be exported as PDF, CSV, or Excel for deeper analysis and easy sharing.
